How to find posts worth replying to on X
On X, a reply is only as good as its timing. A thoughtful reply under a post that already has 400 replies is almost never seen. The same reply in the first 20–30 minutes, when there are only a handful of others, can be read by everyone who opens the thread. So the real skill is not writing replies, it's finding the right posts early.
What a post worth replying to looks like
- It's fresh. Posted in the last hour, ideally in the last 20–30 minutes
- It's picking up speed. Likes and views are coming in fast for its age
- There's still room. Few replies so far, so yours sits near the top
- It's in your niche. The people reading it are the people you want to follow you
- The author talks back. Authors who reply to their replies send their audience your way
Ways to find them by hand
- Turn on notifications for 10–20 accounts in your niche that post often and get engagement
- Use X search with the Latest tab for your topics, and skip anything older than an hour
- Build a private list of accounts in your niche and check it a few times a day
- Check posts by age and reply count before you reply: young and quiet beats old and crowded
This works, but it's slow, and the best moments are easy to miss while you scroll.
How XRadar does it automatically
XRadar watches the feed you're already scrolling. When a post in your topics is fresh and picking up speed, it glows and shows how much time is left to reply, how many replies it has and how big the author is. Old, dead and off-topic posts stay quiet. Every 👍, ✕ and reply teaches it what you care about
XRadar is a free Chrome extension that does the hunting for you: fresh posts in your niche light up in your feed while they still need replies, and it helps you turn your own thought into a clean reply. It never posts for you
